A Wedding in Maine
McCullagh Inn #2
Jeremy and Chelsea are finally moving forward with their lives and getting the Inn up and running. Jeremy wants to move forward with their lives and proposes to Chelsea. He does it in a way that won’t cause Chelsea to run away, which is her usual reaction. Chelsea then gets the idea to use it also as a promotion for the Inn and so begins their crazy wedding planning. While planning her nuptials, Jeremy and Chelsea start noticing weird things happening at the Inn. Neither one of them can explain some of them and they each start to go on alert for their safety. Chelsea discovers her dad is getting out of prison and thinks this may have something to do with that. While her dad has been absent and a terrible parent, he claims to want to make things right with his children. Chelsea doesn’t believe him and has good reason to. When she finally finds evidence that causes her to confront him once and for all, she learns some of his secrets.
The book did do a good of keeping the reader apprised with their wedding plans while also trying to unravel the secrets being kept that have led to their Inn being placed in danger. It was a nice addition to the series and did wrap up well
