The Last Guy by Ilsa Madden-Mills and Tia Louise – June 12

The first rule of office romance is don’t do it—especially if your dream is to hold the anchor spot on the nightly news and your boss is trying to get you fired.

But one look at Cade Hill, the sexy new sports director, and uptight reporter Rebecca Fieldstone is daydreaming about other things.

Sex in his office…
Sex in the on-set kitchen…
Sex in the supply closet…

She can’t stop thinking about the former NFL quarterback and how perfect he’d look between her sheets—except he’s an arrogant jerk with a huge…ego.

He’s the last guy she’d ever have a one-night stand with.

Cade Hill draws a professional line on office romance—until it comes to the hyper-focused Rebecca. He wants her, and he gets his wish when a chance encounter has them having the hottest sex of their lives.

It’s just a hook-up, she says.
When can we do it again? he says.

With Rebecca determined to keep Cade in the friend zone, it’s going to be an uphill battle for Cade to convince her that he’s the last guy for her

Dangerous Rush by S.C. Stephens – June 13

Feeling the rush comes with a price…

Mackenzie Cox has lost everything—except Hayden Hayes. With Kenzie’s racing career over, and her family no longer speaking to her, Hayden has been her rock, as she tries to pick up the pieces of what was once her life.

But when Hayden’s racing team hires his beautiful ex-girlfriend, Felicia, to be their new hotshot rider, Kenzie and Hayden’s seemingly solid relationship begins to crack. Kenzie can only watch from the sidelines, as Felicia lives the life she was forced to leave behind, and as tension begins to build between Hayden and Kenzie, she wonders if Hayden isn’t the man she once knew.

Hard Stick: A Breakaway Novel by LP Dover – June 13

He carries a big stick. And he’s not afraid to use it.

On the ice, I’m Kellan Carter, powerhouse enforcer for the Charlotte Strikers. Off the ice, I’m just a regular guy. The last thing I want is to get mobbed by a bunch of groupies who are only after me for my fame and money. My ideal woman knows how to enjoy a little good, clean fun—and maybe some not-so-clean fun too. That’s the kind of girl I’d never let go.

When Kristen Robinson, the gorgeous, down-to-earth bartender I’ve been crushing on, agrees to let me take her out, I’m thrilled. We have an amazing night together, culminating in the most electrifying kiss of my life—and that’s it. Kristen tells me we can’t see each other again, but I know that kiss meant as much to her as it did to me. What I don’t know is that Kristen has a dangerous secret. . . .

I’ve proved to Kristen that she can trust me with her body and her heart. But when her past comes back to haunt her, I need to prove that she can trust me with her life. And I might have to get my hands dirty after all.

Hot Cop by Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone – June 13

You have the right to remain sexy.

Anything you say can and will be used to get you in my bed.

You have the right to use my body to give yourself a delirious, life-changing orgasm.

If you have trouble…don’t worry, I’m a bit of an expert in that department.

There’s nothing ‘thin’ about my blue line, if you catch my drift, and trust me, I know how to put those handcuffs to good use.

Livia Ward wants a baby before she’s thirty.  And even though Officer Chase Kelly is exactly the kind of cocky jerk this librarian has sworn off, he is undeniably hot.  Both of them think they can give each other what they want–a few nights of fun for Officer Kelly, a no-strings baby for Livia–but this hot cop is about to learn that sex, babies, and love don’t always play by the rules.

His best friend’s little sister is all grown up … and ready to play in a whole new way.

Whenever I start a Kendall Ryan book I know to prepare myself for a ton of laughs, hot sexy times, an out of this world alpha hero and a sassy heroine who brings him to his knees. Combine that with my favorite trope – “bestfriend’s little sister” and this book is pretty much a match made in heaven for me. I absolutely loved Smith and Evie and could not get enough of their banter, heat and all the swoons!

Smith Reed and Evie Reed have known each other for years. Bestfriend’s with her older brother since they were kids, Evie was always a younger sister to Smith – until one day she wasn’t. Something happened where the young little girl grew up to be a sexy vixen in his eyes. But while mutual chemistry and attraction build up between them, what happens when they cross that line one night? Will they take a chance on their newfound feelings and become play mates or will his childhood insecurities and vulnerabilities come back to haunt him?

I loved Smith and Evie together. Their banter was sexy, their chemistry was potent and they both saw a home in one another. I also loved how the author highlighted Smith’s ingrained fears of losing everything and everyone around him stemming from his childhood feelings of abandonment and loneliness. I absolutely adored them as a couple! Ms. Ryan continues to rock my world with her novels and I can’t wait for her next book! Bravo! 4 stars

Good Morning

I feel like I should simply start this post with “You’re welcome!” Look at him! This is Konstantinou Konstantinos, a model from Cyprus. Doesn’t that book look right at home in his hands? I can think of some other things that would feel right at home there too! But I would settle for having him read to me, as long as he looked up once in awhile with… Those EYES!! Tag someone who needs to go to Cyprus right now! #BookSquad #MenWhoRead
