17 Incredible Ways to Use Books as Christmas Decorations

‘Tis the season for holiday decorating, and being bookworms, we wondered how to incorporate books into our Christmas decor. As usual, Pinterest was a treasure trove of ideas, and, thanks to some clever users, we found excellent ways to bring our books down from the bookshelves this winter. From wreaths to Advent calendars to trees, here are 17 incredible ways to deck the halls with books!

1. Stack books of various shapes and sizes for a tabletop tree.

3. You can also stack them in the shape of a snowman.

  1. Wow!! These are all wonderfully inventive and look spectacular! I must admit I have reservations about tearing actual pages out of a book to make an ornament. The greeting card holder looks amazing and welcoming! 😀😀

  2. Fabulous post! Now I know what to do with all that newspaper. My favorite is #4 and I’ve always got leftover wrapping paper to put to use. From the time my oldest son was born, I displayed all of my many Christmas books in a quiet corner where they could go read or be read to at any time. I am still displaying these same books for my little granddaughters to enjoy.
